Debra will be playing the role of Linda in the newly commissioned series SLICED written by Samson Kayo.  Filming in the autumn, this series will be available on the comedy channel Dave.


Debra has recently finished filming on the BFI Film London funded feature Sick(er).  Written and directed by Lucy Brydon, Debra plays the role of Anne-Marie.  Starring Sian Brooke, Amanda Burton and Kazia Pelka, the film is a female led story of one young woman's struggle with her eating disorder.


Earlier this year Debra filmed the role of Maggie in feature film Lie Low.  Written by upcoming, young British director Jamie Noel, Lie Low tells the story of Parnell and his family who escape to the south of France after witnessing a stabbing.


Debra is currently working on her own creative project - The Alphabet Monologues.  52 monologues, 1 female name / 1 male name for each letter of the alphabet.  Debra is writing, casting, directing and producing this online project with a team of filmmakers. Recent Work 

Debra has been working with the award winning director of Night Bus, Simon Baker, on his next feature film. 90 Minutes is set around a Sunday League football match on Hackney Marshes and follows the (mis)fortunes of various characters on and around the pitch. Cinema release in March 2019.

Debra was recording To Hull and Back in February. This is the third series of the BBC Radio 4 Comedy Debra will have worked on. To Hull and Back is written by Lucy Beaumont and stars Maureen Lipman, John Richardson and Norman Lovett. 

Debra is currently working on a web series.  East Street Mary and Dave follows a married couple, obsessed with Bruce Springsteen who will go to extraordinary lengths to prove they are superfans.  Created, written and filmed by Daniel Johnson, episode 1 of the web series can be seen here East Street Mary and Dave
